Dr. Lacey Randa is a proud Lawrence native dedicated to caring for her hometown community. She earned her Biology degree from Emporia State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Before joining Free State Dental, Dr. Randa spent over a decade in public health, providing care to underserved communities across Kansas—an experience that continues to shape her compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Dr. Randa was appointed by Governor Laura Kelly to the Kansas Dental Board and is currently serving her second term. In this role, she works to uphold standards that protect patients and ensure high-quality care across the state. She also serves as an Examiner for the American Board of Dental Examiners (ADEX), where she evaluates clinical competency for dental students and professionals seeking licensure.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Trey, their children—Ryder and twins Nash and Cruz. Much of their time is spent at the kids’ sporting events, and as a family they enjoy cheering on the KU Jayhawks, Iowa Hawkeyes, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
