She has been President of the Douglas County Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association’s First District. He attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry after graduating from Iowa State, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree with honors.

After earning the Delta Dental of Iowa Award for Excellence in Geriatric and Special Needs Dentistry at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. In addition to being a member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Willms presently holds the position of President-Elect of the Kansas Dental Association First District.
